Pierre (Pilou) Kocher was born in 1923 in Western Switzerland. For his figures, Kocher used simple, rounded forms with clear contours and luminous, high-contrast colours. The motif of a cephalopod is starting and end point of the 25 year long artistic development. The artist died in 2005. His works can be found in the Museum im Lagerhaus, Switzerland, and in the Peter Infeld Collection, Austria, among others.
