Adria Sartore was born in 1969 in Genoa, Italy. The influence of art history is a direct consequence of her Italian background. Her main motifs are portraits of young ladies that she calls “portraits of feelings”. Over time, the portraiture sometimes slips into grotesque and ironic scenes. The artist generally uses oil on canvas or wood and works in miniature as well as on large dimensions. Her works are included in many private and public collections such as the Zhi Art Museum, China, and the LYC Collection, China, among others.
