At our new exhibition vario diafano – title of the presented work by Simone Pellegrini – at the galerie gugging vienna, this time everything revolves around the theme of “diversity” and indeed: the selection could hardly be more diverse. You can look forward to an eclectic compilation of national and international art brut artists, where the Gugging Artists of course don’t miss out.
Curator Irina Katnik, who manages our gallery of senses in the heart of Vienna, already reveals some highlights:
“This time we have tried to make a very special selection and focus on works that you probably don’t get to see so quickly otherwise, such as the Czech artist Jaroslav Diviš as well as a series of works with lovers by Johann Korec that are worth seeing.”
In addition, sculptures by the versatile artist Loys Egg will be presented, whose joint exhibition with Oswald Tschirtner “The design of reality is unsatisfactory.” is currently on view in Maria Gugging. Simone Pellegrini’s work vario diafano may not be missing, of course, as it was responsible for the naming of this exhibition. Pellegrini can currently be admired with his meanwhile largest work at the museum gugging, as well as Michel Nedjar, who is represented at the galerie gugging vienna with a finger painting.
Furthermore, you can look forward to works by Basel Al-Bazzaz, Misleidys Castillo Pedroso, Johann Garber, Manuel Griebler, Julia Hanzl, Christopher Kane, Johannes – Lejo – Lechner, Margot, Heinrich Reisenbauer, Leopold Strobl and Christa Wiener.
