For the 2nd year in a row, we are pleased to participate at this year’s Outsider Art Fair New York Online Viewing Room, which will take place from March 3-6, 2022, and is provided by Artland – a platform, where you can discover galleries worldwide, acquire works and get in touch with art lovers and collectors.
The focus of our online presentation is on current works by the Gugging Artist Karl Vondal. His colourful and lively works in green, yellow, blue and especially rose catch the beholder’s eye at first sight. In his artistic oeuvre, eroticism forms a predominant theme, which is found in different ways in almost every work. In addition, he weaves texts around what he depicts, which – like his depictions – deal with sexual and culinary pleasures, a pleasurable life, and distant lands. Since 2020, he has been using stronger colours and including matches – an early technique that he has rediscovered for himself.
