Emma Brosch was born in 1900. Little is known about her life except that she spent some time at the Gugging Psychiatric Hospital. During her time there, she created several drawings as part of diagnostic testing, some of which have survived to this day. Most of these date from 1965 and often depict a figure accompanied by passages of text.
