Iris Ewald’s colorful, highly detailed colored-pencil drawings are inspired by diverse cultures, fabric patterns, fairy tales, dance, and the plant world. Her drawings are usually complemented by lettering that gives the scene a title. In addition to drawing, she also works with acrylic paint on canvas. Just as in her drawings, she fills the entire canvas with her work.
