“Seeing the invisible. Art Brut and the afterlife” in Geneva

::: August Walla ::: International Museum of the Reform, Geneva, 30/01/ - 01/06/25

We are pleased to inform you about the exhibition “Seeing the invisible. Art Brut and the afterlife” at the International Museum of the Reform, Geneva, – opening on January 29, at 06:30 pm. The question of the invisible, the afterlife and death preoccupies, agitates and consumes the 14 creators of Art Brut gathered in this exhibition. Lucienne Peiry, the curator of the exhibition, invites you to lift its veil.

The gathered works come from 12 public and private collections from Europe. Among them, several are presented to the public for the first time. The exhibition includes films, photographies and a booklet. Among the works on display is a large-format, extraordinary work by August Walla entitled “Gott Sabaoth Zebaoth.!” from the Dammann Collection.
