The renowned fragrance artist Paul Divjak created a natural ambient spray exclusively for the gallery gugging, which enlivens body and senses. The Vienna Woods surrounding the gallery gugging as a source of inspiration as well as the highest quality ingredients guarantee a unique fragrance experience in perfume quality.
Last May, the artist duo MÜLLER-DIVJAK laid stinging nettle paths and fragrant installations through the gallery, transferring the surrounding nature into the room. Inspired by the forces of the underestimated plant and the art from Gugging, the artist and fragrance expert PAUL DIVJAK has now olfactorically brought together the fluidity of the place and the morning freshness of the Vienna Woods. Thus, he created the ambient spray OHH GUGGING. Nina Katschnig, director of the gallery gugging, brings the surrounding nature into the premises: “The guests who visit our gallery are invited to combine the unique scent with Gugging. The fragrance matches the art from Gugging – it is clear, pure, and original.”
OHH GUGGING – Natural Ambient Spray. Brut Edition _by PAUL DIVJAK
“Green is the colour of the meadows. The colour green, green are the forests”.

PAUL DIVJAK is known for his international fragrance installations in galleries and museums and for exclusive natural perfume creations. As a fragrance poet, he enchanted the square in front of Schönbrunn Palace in a fragrant fir forest, let the scent of Jerusalem be experienced in the garden of the Jewish Museum Hohenems, or let the delicate aroma of a blossoming orange grove blow through the Neue Galerie New York. His book “Der Geruch der Welt” was published in 2016 and Divjak, a sought-after creative nose, is responsible for exclusive natural perfumes and cosmetic series. He developed the vitalizing Eau d ́Enérgie Soul Splash for the Saint Charles Pharmacy, which has been popular for years. Dedicated to art brut, Paul Divjak composed the unique, natural ambient spray OHH GUGGING: “The fragrance is clear, unadulterated, potentially powerful: simply brut – the olfactory equivalent to art from Gugging.”
Nature from Gugging refreshes body and senses
OHH GUGGING is a 100% natural, spicy fragrance composition, which refreshes the room atmosphere with a bouquet of delicate green medicinal plants such as stinging nettle, sage, marjoram, and yarrow, and invigorating conifers such as jaw. A pure, clear fragrance that has a beneficial effect on the body and inspires the senses.
The exclusive Natural Ambient Spray is offered in cooperation with the Saint Charles Pharmacy in the 6th district of Vienna, which has dedicated itself to holism and is specialised in high-quality and effective natural remedies. “It is time to discover stinging nettles, which Hildegard von Bingen and Paracelsus, among others, have already reported to be particularly effective as medicinal plants, also for new practices. You will retrieve the freshly harvested and processed all-rounder in the natural ambient spray OHH GUGGING. Enriched with valuable ingredients such as yarrow and jaw needles, it provides a soothing, invigorating freshness: spicy, aromatic, toning. Simply original”, says pharmacist Alexander Ehrmann, who runs the Saint Charles Pharmacy in its sixth generation. The stinging nettle tincture originates from Dr. Angelika Prentner, owner and manager of the pharmacy and drugstore “Zur Gnadenmutter”, for whom it is a fragrance with a composition that “balances with a lot of power and strength, steadies, and grounds”.
The sun motive of the Gugging Artist Heinrich Reisenbauer is depicted on the label of OHH GUGGING. The natural ambient spray, whose ingredients originate from 100% controlled organic cultivation, is available in a 100ml bottle in the gallery gugging/Maria Gugging, in the Saint Charles Pharmacy/Vienna and at seelenbalsam/Krems for € 28,80 – in a noble velvet bag for € 35.-.
