Alfred Neumayr was born in 1958 in Tulln, Austria. Until mid March 2020, he visited the studio gugging every day, where he initially painted with acrylic or watercolours. Soon, however, he began to produce finely elaborated Indian Ink drawings. Neumayr experiments with various pens, applies, scratches, pricks, works coloured Indian ink or pencil into it, thins down or mixes. As a base plate, he uses different types of canvases or cardboards. His works can be found in many public and private collections and at international art fairs such as the Collection de l’Art Brut, Switzerland, the Diamond Collection, Austria, and the Drawing Now Paris, France.
